Tonight I ran down to the HB Art Center to catch the new show City Reconsidered. Kudos to curator Darlene DeAngelo for pulling together a great show, especially for a long time resident of HB like myself. Couple of stand outs were Mary Dessert's timeline project and the work by the mysterious artist collective LAC.

Art in America has a new site up and it's pretty damn good. I'm a fan of their artist interview video section. Something I hope to do more of on this site. Here's a clip of Banks Violette:

OCMA's annual auction is coming up on March 28th but you can start bidding on the work now. Head over to their auction site and take a look. It would seem that they decided to offer fewer works that have larger price tags. I hope that works out for them. If you would like to attend the event tickets can be yours for $200 (member price).
